Our boy is 2.5, and this book is really great! It was a fantastic support to teach him safety in the streets. He loves to read it. I strongly recommend it. We don't read exactly all the sentences, we adapt what we tell him to his level of understanding. Illustrations are very explicit and well drowned!
I bought this book to teach roadway safety to kindergarteners. I don't really know if there IS a fun way to teach safety. However, this book does a good job telling kids how to be careful around roads and why it's not safe to run out into traffic, how to cross at crosswalks, etc. Pictures are age level appropriate, so I would recommend it.
Good book for explaining traffic safety to little ones. It's a cute story, and my 3 year old grandson loved it.
These "WATCH OUT" books are wonderful teaching books for children. My girls are 7 and 11 years old. Illustrations shows both positive and negative points on the subject. I highly recommend them as gifts for anyone you care about.

Paddy Armstrong is a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 1975 he was falsely convicted of helping carry out the Guildford and Woolwich bombings, a conviction for which he spent 15 years in prison. Today, he lives in Clontarf, Dublin, with his wife and children. Mary-Elaine Tynan is a freelance journalist and author who lives and works in Dublin. She now works as a freelance journalist and writer in Ireland, writing books and making TV and radio documentaries, including the award-winning Small Lives and Great Reputations about Paddy Armstrong. Everyone knows Paul Hill and Gerry Conlon when you think of the Guildford Four. They became crusaders for the falsely accused and global injustice. I always wondered about Paddy Armstrong and even more Carole Richardson. Wonderful to see how Paddy has adjusted to a great life after his incarceration. His continuing love for Carole Richardson screams out from the pages. She in my view was the biggest victim of all. Seventeen years old...English and with the most rock solid alibi (she was at a concert and actually had a photo taken backstage with the band), her tragic story is the most heartbreaking of this tragedy. There is a special place in hell for the police in Surrey who were responsible. Rip Gerry and Carole. Thank you Paddy for this poignant remembrance. May God Bless the Innocent and May the Guilty be Brought to Justice.
This is a story of a horrendous miscarriage of justice but manages to find happy moments and humour nonetheless. If you're looking for a book you'll have trouble putting down, this is it!

As a former student of Dr. Lyons, he did not disappoint in his most recent work on Ezekiel. Lyons' deep love for both the prophets and textual analysis/comparison are unavoidably contagious to the reader. The work itself surpasses the mere "introduction" as it is described by helping the reader to get a deeper understanding of the context of the book of Ezekiel (even dabbling into the psychological and anthropological relevance to the exiles themselves). Lyons helps the reader see the distinction between the various target audiences for the book, going from its original recipients of the sign-acts themselves, to the written text we find in our Bibles today. Lyons also demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of the scholarship on Ezekiel by juxtaposing various interpretations of key themes and passages that are not widely agreed upon and exposing the stances that are most likely accurate from a textual standpoint. Overall, I highly recommend this book and guarantee that you will both learn and laugh throughout the pages.
