There is a good amount of honest practical information on topics like taxis and shopping. A lot of the guide is dedicated to sample itineraries for exploring the city, which having come back from Kiev, were actually pretty useful with one's own adjustments according to personal taste. Don't expect tons on restaurants/accommodations but I don't really use guidebooks for that when online resources are usually more useful.

The Promised Neverland is a bit of a different animal than most fantasy/sci fi Shounen manga: instead of endless powerups or random events, the story is about slowly but surely uncovering the truth about the world from which the kids have been sheltered. As such it is a bit of a slow burn but the constant reveals along with the focus on the kids using intellect and teamwork to outwit whatever besets them make it worth the read.Story: They have managed to survive all the way to the shelter promised by the mysterious William Minerva. But they find it is already inhabited - by an older escapee just like themselves! The problem is that he is hostile and does not want to share the small resources of the hideout bunker. The kids see it as an interim step to getting to the human world. But the stranger tells them they haven't faced true peril yet. Together, they create a bold plan to continue their quest.Thus far, we have had two arcs in the Promised Neverland: discovering their situation/plotting their escape, and then surviving the journey to the promised safe house. I thought this third arc would involve exploring the safe house and then deciding what to do next eventually. However, the story moves quite quickly and it is clear this third arc will be about reaching the next safe house promised by Minerva.We don't learn anything new about Minerva other than that he appeared to have set all this up years ago. But I also find it interesting that he left the 'pens' among many of the 'farms', to be found and then used to escape. Mysteries in the story currently involve the "poachers" as well as what happened to the strangers' colleagues who all perished years ago.In all, I am still very much enjoying this manga. I especially like that the plot pivots on the intelligence of the main characters and not random deus ex machina events or power ups. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

It is only 60 unmarked pages long i have not read it yet but so far not impressed for 10 dollars and i want to know how it is a #1 best seller other than the author putting that on the cover. If i read it and am very impressed i will change my review. But just not what i expected.

There are more and more soft Dads out there, and some basic life skills are becoming less and less basic. I think of these insurance commercials where the teenager driving doesn't know how to change a tire and is sitting helplessly on the side of the road.

I found this book to be an excellent resource for understanding the process of drawing. I have read the book through once and now return to sections of the book as I attempt to deepen my understanding of elements of the process of drawing. It is not a "how to" book in the usual sense. Rather, it helped me understand what drawing is about.
The best drawing book that I have and I have 40 or more. If you want to learn to draw well get this book.o.o

I bought this book for my grand daughter, who is a budding artist. Since she was around six years old, she's showed a bent for drawing and sketching. In the past few years I've given her different books o sketching: how to sketch apples or oranges,how to sketch trees, how to sketch fairly simple objects.Now she seems to be able to move on to more complicated subjects. This book seems to fill that need very well. She was thrilled to get this book, and hasn't put it down since she received it.
My first "Art" -book and a good read. Would have rated it higher had the graphics displayed better on my Samsung Tab3. Also, that might be a function of the Kindle App not allowing for an enlarged view on my device. Overall, 4 star rating is the best i can do. Enjoy.
No book can teach you how to draw, they can only show the direction. This book does it incredible well.Examples are just enough concise. Usually its a 2 or 3 stages of picture from sketch to detailed result. Examples look good, making you want to draw like author.Book covers drawing using pencil and has a few chapters about pen and ink drawing.Highly recommend it for anyone who want to obtain a skill of drawing.
Very helpful for the budding artist containing a complete range of illustrating techniques.

I just started homeschooling my 11th grade son. Traditional classroom math was not working throughout high school. He barely made it through Algebra and Geometry. We decided to go back and lay a better foundation so he could manage college placement tests better rather than just getting by. He needs to learn rather than just pass. This book is exactly as described and speaks my sons language. The author encourages writing out the examples and steps which seems like it wouldn't make that much of a difference but it does! We are thankful!
Explains algebra simply. There's no extra unnecessary busy work with this book. My teen is using it for 10th grade math (we homeschool) and we're happy with it.
This guide book allows homeschool parents the tools necessary to help their child work through Algebra at a great pace. Also the guide book has a key code to use online and view the videos with great explanations if needed. The workbook supplement gives additional exercises that we use for extra reinforcement. My 8th and 11th grade children are working through these two books (this guide book and the workbook) together daily. The 8th grader seeing it for the first time and the 11th grader using it as SAT review. Best way to study is to teach someone else :) I am very happy with both books.
This seems to be one of the only algebra books that works well for my struggling freshman. Just as the title reads, the lessons are no-nonsense and to the point. The on-line quick videos also help in case that is also needed. I home school my son, and I have always struggled in math. I wish I had this book when I was taking algebra - could have prevented a lot of nights of frustrated crying over confusing math homework.
This product had excellent explaining that was detailed for the student to follow. While other workbooks skip some steps, they spent the time and effort to make sure this is very worth it. The only thing I would like is more content. But overall, great product and I have no regrets.
So easy to learn and understand with this math book. Perfect for those struggling with math.
This book is awesome!!!! It’s straight to the point, has great examples, and the online videos helps my daughter when she struggles to comprehend the new material. I would definitely recommend this!
I ordered this book for my homeschool teen. I’m not really that good in math but he had no issues understanding each concept. It was even explained to my understanding. My only wish is that there was an algebra 2 book I believe no nonsense algebra book is the last of this series
