There are quite a few typos in this text. For example.. ABC's of melanoma -- E is described as elevation (should be evolution); "caliper" motion is written as "caliber" motion (repeatedly). Can be confusing if you're learning the material from the first time from this text. If ordering this text, be sure to order the most recently printed as I believe they corrected many of these errors.
If you are hoping to get access to the online content with the purchase of the e-textbook, you will be disappointed. I paid $85 for the e-textbook on Amazon thinking I would be able to access the online videos; I was not. Then JB Learning wanted an additional $30 to be able to access the online content.
Great text for H&P, especially if you're using Shadow Health. The only thing missing is PEDS.

This is an excellent resource for anyone planning a trip to the Virgin Islands, not just divers. It rates the many sites on both dive rankings and snorkel rankings. I bought it for the snorkel rankings as these seem to be more difficult to come by. Beautiful color photos throughout, excellent charts showing location, and details on each site including approximate location and accessibility (by land, boat, etc.) The only shortcoming that I noted was the lack of GPS coordinates for the sites, an omission that surprised me considering the thoroughness of the other information.
The book was not very useful on our trip to the Virgin Islands as it provided no information on beach snorkel/dive locations. Everything focused on sites that required a boat.

Jenna seems to be plagued by Murphy's Law - if it can go wrong, it will! Jenna loves Moonlight Harbor and the Driftwood Inn, but is struggling to make a profit. She convinces the town to have a festival to get more tourists to visit. It all sounds good, but the weather chooses not to cooperate and the kickoff parade is a disaster and things don't appear to get any better. However, through it all, Jenna and her family and friends stick together to make guests comfortable and find interesting things to keep them occupied. Such a fun read!
Jenna plans a festival right before the holidays to drum up business and tourists for Moonlight Harbor. Guests do arrive, but so does intemperate weather. The lights go out and all the Driftwood Inn customers are farmed out to various households. The holiday spirit is alive and well despite the circumstances. Jenna is ready to make some changes heading into the new year. Hopefully she'll settle on either Seth or Brody necaise the back and forth is nerve wracking.
I loved the Christmas at the beach setting. And enjoyed the heroine's extended family running the inn. Did not like the dynamics of two heros
Strangers decide to visit a beach Christmas festival only to have a severe rain and wind storm disrupt every one’s plans. Each of the groups had their own plans disrupted, but in her usual writing style, Sheila Roberts makes each person and situation real and brings them together. Cancer doesn’t go away, financial problems still need solutions and sisters still fight, but this Christmas tale was satisfying and fun to read.
I loved this book!!! It continued with known characters and new characters! Love the silly parrot! This had a great story line! But Miss Jenna Jones better look seriously into the eyes of Seth! She needs to see that he says one thing, but I believe he means another!!! They need to get together! I would love to see that happen in maybe 4 or 5 more Moonlight Harbor books!!! LOL

As winter approaches business at the harbor slows down, so the residents decide to have a festival the week before Christmas to draw people to their little town on the beach. If you are a total beginner, this book will get you started. It might be a challenge for the beginner who is accustomed to playing from Nakai Tablalture. It also might not be for a group who want to play together. Trying to use it in a group showed us how differently we all interpret the music and it took some work to come to a consensus on rhythm and ornamentation. If you want to play from the heart, but need a melody provided for you, this is the book you want. It leaves you free from the confines of written rhythm notation. The grouping of flute diagrams points you in the direction of rhythm, but you are not only free to make your own decisions, you have to. I like it very much. There are links provided so you can hear the songs played, but some of them are played very differently from what is written.
Book is as described. The songs are easy to follow and play. The online accompanying listening is a plus so you can hear how to play the songs. Not really any known songs but good just the same. I found this book much too simple for my liking and after a few hours got bored with it. Good for an absolute beginner.
Love this book. Written for those of us who don't read music. Makes for easy progressions from simple tunes to more challenging tunes. The author has provided some beautiful tunes that he created. Highly recommend !!!!!
Out of all the books that I purchased for flute playing, this one was my favorite. I enjoyed the other books, but I was in a hurry to start playing music and this book allows you to do that. It's very clearly. All the notes are written in tablature notation, meaning it tells you which holes to cover with your fingers when you're playing the tune.
Gave this as a gift to someone who wanted to learn to play the flute but does not read music. This is a great book with hand placements, diagrams, and made for the pentatonic scale. it is easy to follow and has thorough instructions. Excellent book!

I am writing this from a perspective of someone who paints and wants to learn more about Bob and his paintings/technique. This book has all of that (it's mostly about his painting, not a ton about him.. but I've heard he was a private person). Beautiful colors. For some of the paintings it has little pictures of his process to get to that final result.
This was a Christmas present for my granddaughter. She wanted it and I bought it and she was thrilledel.
I’m giving this 4 stars because the book itself is really great, but only using it as a conversation piece for a bob Ross lover. But in the box, not sure if that is a flea or a tick (in the picture) but it looked like it had its head buried between the pages. Very unsettling to know bugs are being shipped to my house.
Of course Bob Ross gets 5 stars! His paintings are so peaceful and inspiring. The book is a must for anyone who grew up watching Bob paint his masterpieces on TV on Saturday mornings!
My husband loves to paint and likes to watch Bob Ross reruns. He loved this book.

I gave this book as a gift to someone who is an artist and a fan of Bob Ross and he loved it.
This particular book is a collector's item now. You can still get Mr. Ross' other books in the series, but not this one. As time went by his books got better with instructions on how to paint the pictures that are inside, but to have the complete set was quite a happy surprise for me. Thank you amazon.com for having so many of the things I have a hard time finding. Even though it was used, it was in great condition.
