So far this has been a fine read. I would recommend this for either right- before- bed, or on the beach, a quiet afternoon, etc. There are quite a few dynamic features to the story line. A few twists and tunes, and the characters are pretty well developed. There are a few parts that could be edited slightly better, but I do know most authors on here prefer for their readers to help them out in this aspect.It was not hard reading by any means, but it was also not an elementary level book. Be prepared for some love scenes. But honestly, sometimes they do add to the storyline, right?I hope to either purchase more in this series (if there is one) or get the author motivated to write more! Not that this was left with just a cliffhanger or anything, I have just loved how the storyline was developed, and would love to know where this could head into the future. Knowing how the characters have developed, interacted, and have grown leaves me with a lot of hope for more. I always love series/ books where there is a spin- off into a similar setting, but with acquaintances that the characters had, or will have.Overall, this is a great value and I would highly recommend it. It is a great value for the price, and it simply cannot be beat! I will be purchasing more from this author in the future, and look forward to new releases.
I was hoping that by now Bayleigh would have get her self together and stop being such a whinnying cry baby, seriously! That girl is annoy, love the drama. Jace as always wayyyy to good and patience for her. I'm so getting tired of her but I am almost done with the series and can't stop now, really hope she grows and mature a little in the 4th book.
Winter Untold is a book that is very easy to follow along. If you are having trouble in relationships, this a good book that will tell you everything you want to hear. I personally would love to be Bayleigh in the story. She gets the dream boy all of us teens want. I recommend this book to any teen, but especially ones who enjoy love stories. After you find you enjoyed it, you will be glad to know there are plenty more. Its really something to look forward to. I encourage all to get this book! Its worth the time.
Cute continuation of a story, but the book's barely a third of an inch thick. Amy's clearly soaking her readers for every penny.
That is all I can think while reading this book. The main character is a Spoiled little brat. I keep reading thinking she will have an epiphany and finally grow up, but instead she keeps getting everything she wants and everyone just puts up with her and indulges her every whim. I am thoroughly annoyed.
It was a great installment. My heart was in my throat for a lot of it, but overall it worked out just right!
I liked how the relationship represented that of a true one. I could relate to the characters on a personal level. I would recommend it to young teenagers out there.
I really enjoyed the series. It's a heartwarming and feel good read. I read the whole series within a matter of days because I couldn't put it down.

Wow, I am so glad I read this book. All I have to say is this: if, like me, you've read tons of books on how to create great characters, you've wasted a lot of money and time, when all you needed was this one. However, if you've never purchased a how-to book on characters, you're in luck, because this is the only reference you will ever need. I promise. It's that good. Get it, read it, do the exercises, and tell all your writer friends about it. Better yet, don't tell them, then you can have all these secrets to yourself and your friends will be begging you to tell them how you sold that script. Hmm... did I just tell you to buy this book? No, I didn't mean that. Don't buy this book. Really. *evil grin*
This is just what I was needing. I have completed a screenplay and have made a few rewrites, but I have been getting reviews concerning a character that I haven't been able to get a handle on. I have read screenwriting books to improve, but this book cuts through all of the complicated theory that I was hung up on.I have been looking for no nonsense instructions on how to improve my character. After reading this I have been able to understand how to make my other characters come to life, and I am now in another re-write to make it all happen. After this rewrite I will solicit more reviews and, I am sure, my character will not be part of the 'needs work' area. I'm glad I found this book. Thanks a lot.

The book is very well written, clear and to the point. It is short but every word counts. The exercises at the end of the chapters are extremely helpful. I can't believe how much money and time I've wasted on long and bulky screenwriting books with very little useful information. I highly recommend this book and others from the writer. Five stars.
There are alot of helpful things that can only make your script better because the exercise s he gives will help you actualize the script you having swimming within you.
I wasn't sure this little book was for me as I don't write scripts, but it's great for all types of fiction writing. I found the exercises after each chapter to be particularly helpful, especially the empathy map. If you are trying to create characters readers will relate to, like and find interesting, try this book.

About the Author
George Psychoundakis (1920–2006) was born and raised in the remote Cretan village of Asi Gonia, where he received a rudimentary education. When the German army invaded in 1941, he left his work as a shepherd and joined the Resistance. He would eventually run messages for the British Special Operations Executive, and was noted for his speed and intimacy with the landscape. After the war he was mistakenly imprisoned as a deserter and began writing what would become The Cretan Runner (published in English in 1955 and in Greek in 1986) while in prison. In addition to his memoir, Psychoundakis wrote The Eagle’s Nest, a study of the customs of Cretan mountain dwellers, and translated works by Hesiod and Homer into the Cretan language. In 1945 Psychoundakis received the Medal of the Order of the British Empire for Meritorious Service, and in 1981 he was recognized by the Academy of Athens for his translations. He lived on Crete, with his wife and three children, until the end of his life.Patrick Leigh Fermor (1915–2011) chronicled his youthful walk across Europe to Constantinople in a trilogy comprising A Time of Gifts, Between the Woods and the Water, and The Broken Road. After serving on Crete during World War II, Leigh Fermor settled in Greece and his books Mani and Roumeli attest to his deep love for the country. In 2004 he was knighted for his services to literature and to British–Greek relations.

Well done! Wish there could have been a few maps of Crete showing the various cities quoted. Great piece of history showing the bravery and resourcefulness of the Cretans and Allied forces to disrupt German operations.
An excellent book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned so much about the Cretan Resistance.

Fascinating story of a Cretan and his account of the barbaric German occupation of Crete during WWII and his role as a guide and runner in the mountains of Crete. Translated by Patrick Leigh Fermor, who also wrote an interesting introduction to the book. Highly recommended.

It doesn't appear that English is Mr. Patrick's first language. I have no problem with that but if you're going to write a book in a language that is not your native tongue, have somebody proofread it first! I know it was only a buck to buy but it was so difficult to follow it made me wish I hadn't bought it.
Very poorly proof-read! Somebody should tell the author to do a spellcheck on Word or whatever processor he uses. Very distracting. As to the meat of the book, I was not very impressed by his level of expertise in this field. I think that I know more about it than he does, and I am a virtual novice. There is very little of substance; I think he wrote the book after reading a couple of other, better books on the subject. Not enough meat on this bone...
i must be honest..i a shocked at the raft of positive reviews for this book. to be honest..i am shocked it is called a 'book'. there are pamphlets with more information than this, and would take longer to read. this book should at most take someone 6 minutes cover to cover. there's bugger all information in it.
I wish the author had spent more time with the writing, and editing, of this volume. A bit too simple.

This short guide is packed full of good information to start your offshore banking journey. Many myths are dispelled and facts are provided. In this day and age of uncertain economies and governments, it's good to educate yourself on the possibilities of where you can safely invest your money. Apparently, the errors mentioned in another review have been corrected. I may have spotted a typo or two but nothing bad enough to take away a star from this five star guide.
